Vid2Txt is an app designed to help people turn video and audio files into transcripts. It is an offline tool which requires no recurring charges and caters to multiple file formats. It produces transcripts in .txt, .srt, or .vtt formats, which makes the content searchable and editable. This app is useful for those in various professions, including content creators, reporters, students, and business professionals, as well as people who are hard of hearing. It presently works with English, but other languages are available upon request. It can run on both macOS 11+ and Windows 10+, and the company does not collect any user data.
